David R. Shearer, MD

David Shearer is a board certified family medicine physician. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA and his master's from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine-Iowa City. Dr. Shearer completed his internship and residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics-Iowa City.

Shearer's practice is focused on preventative medicine, diabetes, heart disease and outpatient procedures.

Dr. Shearer is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Wisconsin Medical Society.

In his time outside of work, Dr. Shearer enjoys travel, history, reading, theater, sports, and music.
